STEM2PLATE

Clayfield College warmly welcomed back 2015 Old Girl Devika Kulkarni as she led the STEM2PLATE team through their first official session. Our STEM garden is now well and truly up and blooming, and as part of this after school extension program students will use their creative, scientific, mathematical and technology skills to design the water piping and sprinkler system for our garden through automation. We will also be investigating the use of solar panels to provide energy to run these sprinklers. Devika is currently studying Mechanical Engineering at UQ and is excited to be able to come back to Clayfield and share her passion of the STEM subjects with our students.
