Class of 2025 ATAR Results

Clayfield College is proud to celebrate the achievements of the Class of 2025 — a cohort who embraced every opportunity with curiosity, courage and a determination to live out this year’s theme, Be Fearless – Let's Illuminate the Sky. Their results reflect not only academic strength, but the character and resilience that have defined their journey.

The Class of 2025 worked diligently to achieve their personal goals, and this is reflected in the following outcomes:

  • Highest ATAR of 99.80
  • Median ATAR of 89
  • 6% of ATAR candidates obtained an ATAR greater than or equal to 99
  • 43% of ATAR candidates obtained an ATAR greater than or equal to 90
  • 57% of ATAR candidates obtained an ATAR greater than or equal to 80
  • 74% of ATAR candidates obtained an ATAR greater than or equal to 70
  • 70% achieved an A or B Grade within subjects
  • 28% attained VET qualifications

We would particularly like to recognise three students for their exceptional individual achievements.

  • Caroline Zhang is the ATAR DUX, obtaining the highest ATAR score across the Class of 2025. Impressively, she achieved A Grades in five subjects including Chemistry, Engineering, Mathematical Methods, Physics and Specialist Mathematics. She also attained a Perfect Score of 100 in Mathematical Methods and received a Premier’s Subject Achievement Award for Mathematical Methods.
  • Charlotte Lay is the College DUX and achieved A Grades in five subjects including General Mathematics, Literature, Modern History, Philosophy and Reason, and Geography. She also attained a Perfect Score of 100 in Literature and received a Premier’s Subject Achievement Award for Literature.
  • Manidhi Chezhian was awarded the QCE Certificate of Academic Commendation for receiving A Grades in six subjects including Chemistry, Engineering, English, Physics, Mathematical Methods and Specialist Mathematics. She also attained a Perfect Score in the English External Examination.

Beyond these individual achievements, the true strength of the Class of 2025 lies in the diversity of their interests. Students pursued studies across Business, Creative Arts, Humanities, Languages, Physical Education, STEM and vocational pathways — each following a personalised journey shaped by their interests and aspirations. Their courage to explore new ideas and challenge themselves has left a lasting impression on our community.

“Our graduates have shown what is possible when young people feel known, valued and understood,” said Principal Dr Andrew Cousins. “Their results reflect determination, purpose and the fulfilment of personal goals shaped over many years of learning. We are incredibly proud of the light they have brought to our community.”

As league tables emerge in the media, we continue to reaffirm our belief that a single number cannot capture the depth of a student’s learning or the richness of a school’s mission. Clayfield College remains committed to recognising success in all its forms — Academics, the Arts, Service, Sport and vocational pathways — and celebrating the qualities that make each young person unique.

We are immensely proud of the Class of 2025. They have illuminated the College with their talents, leadership and spirit, and we look forward to following their journeys as they step confidently into the next chapter.
