Does my child have to attend an interview?

The enrolment interview is an important part of the enrolment process as it is an opportunity for us to get to know your son or daughter, for you to learn more about Clayfield, and to discuss any questions or requirements you may have. For Primary students, our Head of Primary conducts the interview and Secondary students are interviewed by our Deputy Principal.

I have enrolled my child but wish to change the year of entry. What do I need to do?

Please notify our Enrolments Office of your request to change your son or daughter’s year of entry in writing. We will adjust their year of entry and place their name onto the new waitlist at their original application date. Our Enrolments Office will confirm the change to you in writing.

What happens if I confirmed a place for my child in a particular year, but I would like to change that year (earlier/later)?

In the case of bringing forward the year of entry, if a place is available, a new letter of offer will be issued. Otherwise, their name will be placed onto the waitlist for that year level of entry. In the case of deferring the year of entry, their name will be placed onto the waitlist for that year level of entry. If a place is available, a further interview may be necessary (closer to commencement) before a new letter of offer is issued. Fees already paid will be transferred with the enrolment.

What are the tuition fees?

Our current fee schedules are available here.

Is my child classified as an International/Overseas student?

Your son or daughter will be an International/Overseas student if they are studying in Australia on a 500 Student Visa. Please do not hesitate to contact our Enrolments Office if you have any questions.

Do you offer scholarships?

A limited number of scholarships are awarded each year to students entering Years 7 to 11. More information on our Scholarship Program can be found here.

What transport options are available?

Our campus is centrally located on a major arterial road, Sandgate Road, which flows from Brisbane’s CBD to the northern suburbs and the Sunshine Coast.

The Citytrain network is situated close by with both Eagle Junction and Clayfield railway stations only a short walk away.

There are bus stops located just outside the school for Brisbane City Council services and private bus lines such as Red and White provide dedicated services for private schools to various suburbs in north Brisbane.
