Scholarships and Bursaries Program

Each year, a limited number of scholarships are offered to students entering Years 7 to 11.

A scholarship to Clayfield provides your child with the opportunity to achieve their personal best and take responsibility for, and be proactive in, the development of their own education. Most importantly, Clayfield scholarships provide opportunities for students to attend our College who may not otherwise have been able to do so.

Applications for our 2026 Academic, General Excellence, and Boarding Scholarships have now closed. Information about our 2027 Scholarships and Bursaries Program will be available in Term 4, 2025.

‘I’ve been really impressed to hear what Clayfield is doing to assist girls and boys who would not otherwise have the support to achieve a good education. For me, education is the long-term key to assisting young adults out of poverty and/or powerlessness.’
— Sue Boyce (Class of 1967)

Scholarship Policy

In order to retain a scholarship at Clayfield College, students are expected to maintain high standards in their conduct and academic results throughout the scholarship period, and to actively participate and embrace College life.

In accepting a scholarship, parents/caregivers agree that they understand their child will complete their education at Clayfield College.

The College reserves the right to request the full repayment of the total value of the scholarship if students/parents do not fulfil this expectation without valid cause.
