Amazing opportunities offered by the Wesley Hospital

Two of Clayfield College’s Year 11 students, Alice Corbett and Tania Lou were recently selected from a pool of more than 500 applicants to participate in the Wesley Hospital internship.

Now in its fifth year, the innovative Wesley School Internship Program runs from 30 November to 6 December, and is the only dedicated intensive hospital-based internship program for Queensland high school students.

Alice and Tania spent the week learning from medical, allied and other health professionals through presentations, tours, simulation labs and practical work placements. It was a great opportunity for the students to be immersed in the healthcare industry and mentored by real-world professionals across the spectrum of roles within a hospital environment.
