Last month, the Visual Art Department at Clayfield College hosted a unique learning experience for our Year 11 Visual Art students with well-known guest artist William Robinson.
William Robinson is a leading Australian landscape painter and one of the few living Australian artists to have a major retrospective of his work at the National Gallery of Australia in Canberra in 2001. He also won the 1987 & 1995 Archibald prizes and the Wynn ...prizes in 1990 and 1996.
Year 11 Visual Art students are studying the concept ‘The Relationship of Place to Identity’ and they were fortunate to have this learning experience reinforced with an insight from this wonderful artist. We would like take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks to the Honourable Dame Quentin Bryce who made this opportunity possible.
