Reports to: Principal
Direct report to this role : Head of Year 7/8, Head of Year 9/10, Head of Year 11/12, Head of STEM, Head of English and Humanities, the College Nurse, Learning Support Staff, Student Support and Administrative Officer.
Internal Liaisons :Secondary School Staff, Students, and Parents, Heads of Year, Heads of Department, Senior Leadership Team and Boarding staff.
Terms and Conditions : Full time, 5-year maximum term contract. Teaching load of 1 class.

Purpose of this Position

The Head of Secondary is a senior position with responsibility for leadership, organisation, and Secondary School management.  The Head of Secondary reports directly to the Principal and is an integral member of the Senior Leadership Team responsible for leading the development and delivery of outstanding programs, events, and pastoral care outcomes for our Secondary School students (Years 7-12).  As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, there is a collective responsibility for support of and enhancing the Pre-Prep-12 philosophy of the College.
