Terms of Business

Clayfield College’s Business Office is located at 644 Sandgate Road and is open for business between the hours of 8.00 am to 4.00 pm Monday to Friday. The Business Office is closed on public holidays and the period between Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

The Business Office houses Reception, Enrolments, Marketing and the offices of the Business Manager, Director of Marketing & Enrolments, Accountant, Fees Officer, Accounts Payable Officer and other administrative support staff.

A copy of the Enrolment Procedures and Business Regulations for Clayfield College is included in the Publications and Forms section but the key business regulations include:

  • tuition fees, levies, and boarding fees are charged in advance for each term;
  • fee statements are issued at least four weeks before the commencement of each term;
  • payment of fees are to be made using Smartapay Payment Services which provides EIGHT methods to pay by either cash, cheque, direct debit, debit card, credit card (Visa or Mastercard, surcharge applies), or charge card (American Express or Diners Club, surcharge applies);
  • a discount is available to parents who pay a full year’s fees in advance on the first day of the school year whilst a higher discount is available to parents who pay the full year’s fees by 7th December of the preceding year;
  • a sibling discount of 10% on the basic tuition fee is given to the second and subsequent children who attend school together. The discount does not apply if a sibling has been awarded a scholarship or a bursary. The same sibling discount is available on application for siblings who attend other PMSA schools;
  • any concessions, discounts, scholarships, bursaries or reduction of fees will be forfeited and will become immediately due and payable where fees are not paid in full by the due date;
  • new overseas students are required to pay at least a full year’s fees in advance by 25th November of the preceding year whilst continuing overseas students’ fees are payable each semester in advance by 25th May and 25th November; and
  • a half term’s notice in writing is required if a student is to be withdrawn from the College or changed from a Boarder to Day student. In default of this requirement, a half term’s fees in lieu of notice will be due and payable.
